James Asutaku - Transformation Architect / Master Trainer
Introduction to Career and Experience
James is a trilingual instructor (English, French, Pidgin) with over 25 years of experience delivering enterprise infrastructure transformation and advanced technical training. Beginning his training career in 2001, he has delivered certification-focused training across enterprise networking, security, and systems administration. Over his career, he has delivered training for major technology vendors including CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Juniper, BlackBerry, and VMware by Broadcom.
Training, Architecture, and Enablement
He has trained over 1,000 engineering teams across Fortune 100 companies and government agencies, achieving a 97% certification pass rate. Today, James focuses on Network and Security related courses with an emphasis on practical applications for both the virtual and physical world—from configuration and implementation to architecture design.
What makes his training unique is his active consulting role as a Transformation Architect. He frequently leads private cloud transformation initiatives for enterprise clients and designs high-performance data center networking, including InfiniBand and EVPN/VXLAN fabrics. By bringing these real-world data center scenarios into the classroom, he bridges the gap between architecture, deployment, and operational readiness for his students, ensuring they gain comprehensive, hands-on experience.
